My mistake, I did not check the weight of the cleaver. The point of a cleaver s that its weight does most of the work. This is thin and light. And it doesn't cut very well either.

The tall blade allows you to speed through prepping and the weigh of the blade means so much of the work is done by the knife. I would highly reccomend for professionals or amateurs at home who simply enjoy cooking
