I surprised my mom with the 7 inch Zwilling Chinese Chef's Knife while she was prepping for tonight's dinner with her usual old beat up knife. She absolutely LOVES it! The back of the knife can be used as meat pounder, and the width of the knife makes crushing garlic so effortless.

I also be this knife. It's exactly what I wanted. The weight balance did good, it's strong, and cuts through everything like it was soft butter.The quality is amazing and it was the best Christmas present I have given myself in years.
