I have had this cleaver for months and a few weeks ago the handle broke off at the blade. I called KitchenAid and after sending a picture of the pieces, the customer service rep placed a replacement order. We received the new one in 10 days.I still wonder how a solid piece of metal could fail so catastrophically. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
