[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not an experienced user of cutlery such as this, but the cleaver seems to be of excellent quality. The blade arrived pre-sharpened, and the entire unit feels to be of sturdy construction. I'd definitely recommend this product.
The weight of the cleaver and handle are comfortable when wielding the knife. There is no slippage when chopping. This knife is great for cutting up whole chickens. It cuts right through with no problems. Also great for chopped beef when we smoke a brisket. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I really liked the build and quality of the knife. Cuts through meat like butter. Cut poultry bones with much ease than cheaper cleaners. Hasn't chipped or dented as if now so I feel its gonna hold up good [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
So sharp and has a nice heft to it! Only criticism is there is a small nick on the edge, which is a bummer. But still well worth it!
